Traditional Landscapes

As much as my brain wants to try different techniques of paint application, I also crave to spend time in places where I have been in my travels. This genre always leads me back to traditional realism. Before we became still in 2020 I had the opportunity to once again be in New Mexico. The geology and history of the area makes me soar.

Under the Water

Water imagery is so very inwardly emotional compared to other visuals. For me there is a quiet solitude and mystery when I work with these themes. Most of the animals I paint have been in the oceans, seemingly forever- even before there were trees on the land.
